The Restara Oasis, once home to an ancient canal (Restara), enriched by plants planted in the 1990s, has been renovated and over time has become a true oasis just a stone's throw from the city center. Thanks to the intervention of GAL Bassa Padovana, it was possible to carry out the environmental arrangement of the entire area, offering the opportunity to walk a seven-kilometer circuit thanks to a walkway that, crossing the Restara canal, connects the two pre-existing cycling paths.
After entering the Oasis, one can continue along a seven-kilometer circuit which, halfway through, diverges towards Pra' d'Este. To complete the circuit, one can use the iron walkway that allows crossing to the other side of the canal to return to the area of the nursing home.
The path is equipped with benches, information boards, and bins, and the watercourse is protected by wooden fences. The Restara Oasis is now a fully accessible green area, as well as a cycling link between the historic center and the district, and between the 'Ring of the Euganean Hills' and the 'Tour of the Walled Cities'.
