Villa Molin is a Venetian villa in Padua, in the locality of Mandria, designed in 1597 by the Vicentine architect Vincenzo Scamozzi (1548 - 1616), architect, scenographer, treatise writer of broad culture working in Vicenza and in the Venetian area.
The villa has both an Italian boxwood garden and an English garden and the interiors are frescoed. In addition to the Molin family, it belonged to the Emo Capodilista and Dondi Dall' Orologio families.
During this tour you will visit one of the most famous villas designed by the architect Vincenzo Scamozzi. The building has a Palladian-type layout and is reflected in the waters of the Battaglia canal. It is surrounded by a wonderful English garden while on the back there is a precious Italian garden with box hedges which has been preserved over the centuries. Once inside it will be possible to access the main floor to see the frescoed rooms and the large ballroom as well as the bedrooms of those who lived in the house.
